I find the game more enjoyable with these mods. Gold increase: increases the max gold you can carry Better jewelry: rings & amulets can have up to 7 magical mods (VERY expensive at the shopkeepers) Shopkeeper jewelry: shopkeepers sell rings & amulets Larger inventory: makes my inventory about the size of a packmule Exp/Stat increase: increases the rate at which I gain stats and experience. Transmute increase: increases the amount of gold I get for Transmuting an object.

There's another mod that I'm using that increases the summon movement speed- quite handy, especially for skeleton summons which move at the speed of "very slow". With 1 Nature summon and 1 Combat summon tanking for me, I can safely level up my ranged skill. This is WAY overpowered if abused, but very handy if you're only playing 1 character. The solution, of course, is the multiple summon mod. By default you can only have 1 summon, which kind of sucks if you're trying to level both Nature & Combat at the same time. The easiest way to level these while still leveling ranged is with summons. Since I was playing a single character I wanted to be able to heal myself and maybe cast some spells so I am also leveling Nature & Combat magic in addition to ranged.

I am currently using 2 mods for archery: one that increases the damage for bows/crossbows based on your dexterity, and one that increases the attack speed based on dexterity and ranged skill. There are a bunch of mods that make up for this. I wanted to play an archer but archery sucks at high levels- the damage just can't compete with good weapons or high-level spells. I searched around for some good mods and have a pretty good setup right now. I chose to do a single person instead of a party though and I must say that I am enjoying it much more. I had gotten almost to the end of the single player campaign before quitting the first time, so this time I found that mod that converts the MP quest to single player, complete with hireables. I recently fired up Dungeon Siege myself.
